Dr.Adarsh: wear black ribbons on 5th Feb. 2011 to protest against the vision-2015 of MCI

Dear All

It is very heartning to note that so many budding forensic medicine experts are coming forward and eager to join hands with Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine ( iafm) as well as other state bodies and scintific assoaiations. I think alll of you are aware that we just had our annual confernce at Nellore 28-30 Jan.Reg future course of action it has been decided that to show our protest against the Vision Document we will bear black ribbons on 5th Feb. 2011( since the last date for sending the comments to MCI is 7th feb); of course if needed we will also be gearing up to resort to legal remedies.In this context I endorse the views of Dr MC Gupta and we wre already working on those lines. I appeal to all of you for wider circulation of this information i.e. to wear black ribbon on 5th Feb with proper media coverage at thier states/cities etc to all freternity not only forensic but at all levels, insitutuonals departmental personal to make it a national movemnet as still so many faculties from these deaprtments still do not know about the exisetnce of such document and thier recommendations. If we can only apprise them and explain, they will oppose this document even more than us.Please circulate this mail to as maximum no of medical fraternity as possible. IAFM is already fighting for this cause all are welcome to join hands with us.Of course for legal course the coordination commitees both at national as well as state levles will be finalised soon for  funds generation , collection and proper handling with representation in Courts during hearing etc etc.....I invite 2 names from the body of forensic youth which i suppose will comprise of at least 100 members. I am working on other details and soon will revert back to all of you.
