Demand transparency in MCI

friends...

something seems to be cooking in the MCI that is going to affect medical education greatly but of which we are not being made aware of.

every now and then we get part news or documents which will have far reaching effects.

now we have come to know of meetings being held in
MCI/health ministry (21 Jan) and
then in the Home Ministry (22 Jan)
the contents of which are not available anywhere but unconfirmed reports and personal communications paint a very sad state of affairs.

even the old MCI mainatained a very transparent attitude regards to various meetings. but now since more than a year we are not being updated regarding the meetings being held at the MCI, though many such meetings are taking place.

we should press for the transparency on part of the MCI and that it should come out in the open regarding all that is going on behind the curtains, whether regarding reforms or policy decisions relating to medical education or rural doctors etc.

it is high time that the MCI-BOG inform us, what is going on ...

people have a right to be informed of the  decisions that will affect their lives........... MCI is not expected to behave like SWISS banks..

It might not be a bad idea to file a PIL against the MCI on this point. The national or state IMAs should think of this.
