our crpc take mbbs competent enough to handle medicolegal cases.if legal medicine will become elective i think a drastic change in law needed, because for law mbbs will be like lay man if he will not opt for legal medicine, as per autopsy and other medicolegal work concern.....next move of ministry of home and law may take that autopsy should be done only from forensic expert,,,,,,,,,mci governing board is not elective body so its behaving in autocratic fashion...drastic change in mci by nominated people who dont have trust of country medico is funny........mci will be now totaly commited to make mbbs and md equal to bsc and msc..as per trend best talent not coming to mbbs and if mci myopic view implemented to do bsc will be more lucrative than doin mbbs.///////noble profession on verge of extinction in india if decision for it will be taken by nominated people who has no leadership or administrative excellence....................
