Please find reproduced below a message just received from one of our dynamic colleagues who has been at the forefront in our fight against Vision 2015 - Dr Mahabalesh Shetty.

Now that one of the leading lights among the MCI BOG (Dr Devi Prasad Shetty) himself has assured us that the recommendations of the UG Curriculum Core Committee will be adhered to by the MCI, and our recommendations in the Delhi meeting (18-19 Feb) are most likely to be accepted by Prof George Mathew and his UG Education Working Group of the MCI, which hopefully will be reflected in the modified version of Vision 2015, we can begin to feel a little bit more relaxed!

But still, wait for the official confirmation before you uncork that champagne bottle!

President of KAMLS meets Dr.Devi Shetty (BOG-MCI) at Mangalore on 21st Feb

Dear friends and seniors,

today i had a meeting with Dr Devi Shetty-BOG-MCI.We discussed for 20 minutes regarding vision -2015.MCI-BOG will accept expert committe report post Forensic Core committe meeting which -took place in Delhi.The question of removal of FMT does not arise . He even want the home minster of India to implement the Karnataka -Pttern of medicolegal work all over India.

Please dont use harsh words against any one .FMT IS IN SAFE HANDS OF CORE COMMITTE.(THE 4 SENOIR PROFS).He knows about various judgements so nothing to worry.The old pattern of Staff restorations may be difficulty beacuse of lack of staff .
