As MCI have proposed UG Medical Education Vision 2015 health for all ;but I have deep concern that in proposed vision the subject of forensic medicine & Toxicology have been included as elective subject .As right from the peripheral hospital i.e PHC to tertiary hospital every doctor has to deal with medicolegal cases. Making such an important subject as an optional will be big injustice with the subject and it will make a huge black hole in the future doctors.
