I am Dr Shalini Girdhar working as junior Specialist SGM hospital Mangolpuri Govt of DELHI.The Vision 2015 document given  by MCI is a document which is dangering medical health offered to people of india.  .It is correct that clnical subjects should be given more of importance than paraclinical subjects,but paraclinical subjects should not be ignored as they are base on which clinical subjects are there.TO Ignore forensic medicine  from medical curriculum is a diastarous step  as this the subject which a  undergraduate student learns as a basic of all medicolegal work which is useful in day to day practice of medicine and useful in all specialities.Injury can not taught by a surgeon who sees injury as  for treatmenmt and not for aging and other prospects. The crime rate is increasing day by day and to  put forensic medicine in group c of teaching is a great hazard to all medical doctors.MCI should revert back this decision as early as possible otherwise there will be mass protests against this.Treat forensic medicine in Group B along with clinical subjects and teach it in second and third year as it will help medical student to combine paramedical  medical knowledge with medicolegal knowledge.One thing more, MBBS should have semester system all over the India and each semester should be followed by tests that should add up in last.It will increase the learning ability of students.
