Strategies to oppose the implementation of vision-2015: Ideas by Dr.Ashwini Narayan and Dr.Jagadish Rao.P.P.

• Memorandum/notice to the Govt./Judiciary/Police that medico-legal work will be hampered by the move to sideline forensic medicine. In the wake of signals by the MCI/Health ministry implying that they do not want FM experts, we would like to ask home ministry and the ministry of law & Justice to make their stand. A token strike may be planned (Nationwide strike; 10 am to 12 noon on a working day) after proper notice period. (Dr.Ashwini Narayan has given this idea)

•  Dharna at NewDelhi…..This should be attended by all FM experts……This will/can be clubbed with the token strike as mentioned above……Such a Dharna will give rise to nationwide publicity and debate regarding the vision-2015.  (Dr.Jagadish Rao.P.P. has given this idea)
