President, MP Medical Teacher's Association, Indore: Feedback on vision-2015

to,
    the chairman
   BOG MCI
sir,
i have gone thrugh "vision 2015" proposed by MCI , i have found some very serious faulty recommendation by the group, i want to put them in front of you and other members of BOG
1. the members of group does not include any faternity from forensic medicine
2. they have recommended in vision 2015 as mentioned on page 15 that " forensic medicine can be learned by MBBS student in obs & gyn. , surgery & pharmacology , do these hon'ble members of group understood the meaning of forensic medicine , i think they were completely unawre of forensic medicine in todays scenario of medical practice. if they understood importance of forensic medicine , they should realised that in last twenty years medicolegal aspect of clinical practice is so much widened , if you don't believe it just go thrugh the no. of cases pending in front of consumer forums against doctors.
3. i am putting another question in front of you " how many specialist of surgery , obtretics & gynaecology & pharmacology understood medicolegal aspect of their own subject forget about forensic medicine , the answer is very few . if they know about medicolegal aspect of their own subject than should know how to write clinican notes so they can save their skin if question of negligence come in any case , so when most of them unable to understood how to save their skin in own cases , this group is suggesting that they can teach forensic medicine , sorry to say but it appears very funny & tragic to me and faternity of forensic medicine of india. whenever required they always remain in contact with us forensic experts for help in solving their medicolegal problem & group is suggesting that they will teach forensic medicine ???? very funny.
4. had MCI done any servey in doctors who has completed their graduation & post graduation that " knowledge of which subject is needed immediately on joining service or starting their practice " if you ask them you should know that when they are lacking in the knowledge of forensic medicine than it became very difficult to deal with medicolegal cases and they face lot of trouble in facing the courts. in last 12 years many of my student comes to me for thanking me for teaching forensic medicine so they are dealing with the medicolegal cases efficiently.
5. hon'ble supreme court & hon'ble highcourts of various states has commented many times on improper writing of clinicians & shortage forensic experts in india & instead of giving encouragement to forensic medicine subject , MCI is trying to finish subject .
6. vision 2015 is showing that only 500 teachers in forensic medicine today but actual fact as per your website that numbers of teachers in forensic medicine is about 1500 . it is very clear that this group has put wrong facts in front of MCI & medical faternity.
7. i agreed that their is shortage of forensic experts in india , but instead of encouraging subject  VISION 2015 will lead to deteriote condition of subject in medical colleges which means that in future we will produce incompetent doctors whose knowledge of medicolegal aspect will be very poor.
8. i want to put one more question in front of you regarding your recent decision of reducing numbers of faculties requires per 100 student , if you know about actual situation of forensic experts in medical colleges of india than you should be aware that department of forensic medicine is overloaded with medicolegal work , so instead of increasing no. of faculty in forensic medicne has reduced the requirement , please think about it very seriously.
in last it is my very clear cut opinion and request that BOG MCI should tatally rejects recommendation of "VISION 2015" regardng forensic medicine subject and try to to encourage subject so future doctors  produced by the medical colleges of INDIA will be competent enough to deal with medicolegal cases & medicolegal aspect of clinical practice.
