Respected Board of Governors, MCI,

Implementation of some proposals in vision-2015 is not necessary because the reason for its implementation is baseless (there is no shortage of Doctors)

Presently, Indian Medical education is quite up to the global standard, otherwise how is that Indian doctors are faring so well abroad and Indian students are qualifying USMLE etc

Vision-2015 is an incompletely disclosed document, because annexure are not available.

Vision-2015 (duration of the UG course) is against the global standards (3 years are essential for preclinical training)

Vision-2015 will lead to deteriorated standards of medical education because of the graduation in a shorter span of time

Sideling of Forensic medicine is a reason to object vision-2015

Sidelining of Pathology, Pharmacology and Microbiology, as well as that of ENT and Ophthalmology are reasons to object vision-2015

Vision-2015 is ignoring the Indian scenario which requires toxicological training in UG curriculum

Vision-2015 is ignoring the Indian scenario which requires proper sexual jurisprudencetraining by FM experts in UG curriculum

Faculty of Community medicine are concerned about vision-2015

There are other issues, such a wages to doctors, that have been ignored in the vision-2015

Working group’s convener might have a bias, because he ‘hates’ forensic medicine experts.

Several other relevant comments (about criminal justice system of India getting affected by vision-2015, etc)   at

This blog’s email account has received several (nearing two hundred) mails from across the country (few from Malaysia), as on today. But of grammatical errors, similar views as what was already posted on the blog, I had to ignore them from making them public. The point is ‘several faculty members and other distinguished members of the society’ have their opinion against the vision-2015 which they are wanting to convey to the BOG of MCI.
Take them into confidence!

Regards
